St. Joseph Statue Helps Sell Your House
For many years lots of people in the United States have used St. Joseph statues to help sell their house.
Joseph was a carpenter and the husband of the Virgin Mary.
St. Joseph is a patron saint of carpenters and workers. He is also a patron against hesitation and doubt.
In addition he is a patron of a happy death as tradition claims he died in the arms of the Virgin Mary.
In our case we will take a closer look at the belief that St Joseph is the patron to house sellers.
It is a strange practice to bury a St Joseph statue
to sell house fast and with profit.
Many people struggling to sell their home claim that St Joseph came to their rescue.
In this case you need to say a prayer. Ideally you need to say a prayer for nine days in a row.
Next you need to take a statue of St Joseph and carefully burry it upside down in your yard. The face of the statue needs to face the house you are trying to sell.
When your house is sold, you need to give thanks. Take the St Joseph statue from the ground.
Carefully clean the St Joseph statue.
Bring it to your home.
Place the St Joseph statue in an honorable spot in your new home.
There are many different prayers. Here is one of them:
Prayer to Saint Joseph for Selling a House
O, Saint Joseph, you who taught our Lord the carpenter’s trade, and saw to it that he was always properly housed, hear my earnest plea.
I want you to help me now as you helped your foster-child Jesus, and as you have helped many others in the matter of housing.
I wish to sell this house/property quickly, easily, and profitably and I implore you to grant my wish by bringing me a good buyer, one who is eager, compliant, and honest, and by letting nothing impede the rapid conclusion of the sale.
Dear Saint Joseph,
I know you would do this for me out of the goodness of your heart and in your own good time, but my need is very great now and so I must make you hurry on my behalf.
Saint Joseph, I am going to place you in a difficult position with your head in darkness and you will suffer as our Lord suffered, until this (house/property) is sold.
Then, Saint Joseph, I swear before the cross and God Almighty, that I will redeem you and you will receive my gratitude and a place of honor in my home.
Lately it has been reported that some real estate agents have also started this practice.
Make note that this is not official Catholic practice. Many Catholics would never dream of burying a St Joseph statue to sell house.
They find it disrespectful and urge the owners of these statues to place the statue in a worthy place in their home.
Pray and let faith take it from there.
